Terms
Updated 5 November 2026. See also our privacy policy.
The short version
- Objectifly is software for running a jewellery store. It is not a shop, a marketplace or a manufacturer.
- Your brand is the seller. You set prices and you are responsible for your sales, refunds, tax and customer service.
- Building a store is free. Publishing costs US$20 a month, plus a fee per order, both charged to your card.
- Manufacturers are independent businesses. Your agreement with them is between you and them.
The rest of this page says the same thing with more care. If the two ever differ, the rest of the page is what applies.
Who we are
Objectifly is run by Eliyahu Moshe Leinkram (ABN 98 293 572 810), New South Wales, Australia ("Objectifly", "we"). These terms are the agreement between us and you, the person or business using Objectifly to run a brand ("you"). If you sign up for a business, you confirm you may bind it. You must be at least 18.
What we provide
We provide software: a studio to design and manage pieces, a store for your brand, a directory of manufacturers, tools for prices, orders and messages to your customers. We are not your partner, agent or employee, we are not the seller of anything in your store, and we never hold your customers' money.
Your account and your brand
You sign in with your email and a code. Keep access to that email: whoever holds it holds your account. For now it is one brand to an account. The information you give us about your brand must be true, including its legal name and contact email. Your store names your legal name as the seller, and buying can't open without it.
You are the seller
Every sale in your store is a contract between you and your customer. Objectifly is not a party to it. You alone are responsible for:
- your prices, your product descriptions and everything your store says, including any claim about metal, stones, origin or hallmarks;
- taking payment, and any fraud, chargebacks and disputes that come with it;
- refunds, returns, warranties and all the rights your customers have under consumer law where they live;
- sales tax, VAT, GST, duties, income tax and invoices;
- shipping, delivery and customer service;
- the law that applies to selling jewellery where you and your customers are.
We don't give legal, tax or financial advice. Words we suggest, including default messages and the assistant's replies, are for you to check and to own.
Payments in your store
You connect your own account with a payment provider and enter your own keys. Your customers pay you, directly, under your agreement with that provider. We keep your keys encrypted and use them only to take and confirm payments for your store. A sale is recorded only when your provider confirms it. We can't guarantee a provider's service, and providers may change or stop.
Our fees
- Building a store is free, and a draft store costs nothing.
- While your store is published you pay US$20 a month, charged to the card you keep on file with us. Take the store back to a draft to stop it.
- You also pay a fee per order, currently 5% of the order's price, charged to the same card as one line per order. It falls due when your provider confirms the sale.
- If a charge for an order fails we warn you. You then have three days to fix your card. After that, the order waits at the manufacturer step until the fee is paid.
- A full refund before your manufacturer has started on an order credits that order's fee. After they have started, the fee stays.
- We may change our fees on 30 days' notice. A change never applies to an order already placed.
Cards are handled by Stripe on our behalf. Fees are charged in US dollars and don't include any tax your country adds.
Prices and the floor
Our price tools work out a price from a piece's weight, the day's metal rate, the making charge agreed with your manufacturer and the margins you choose, and they pause or raise a piece that would sell below cost. They are tools. Weights are computed from the 3D model and metal rates come from outside sources, and either can be wrong or late. You are responsible for the prices you publish. A price is only final between you and your customer.
Manufacturers
Manufacturers listed on Objectifly are independent businesses, not our employees, partners or agents. We verify a contact and that they agreed to be listed. We don't inspect their workshops and we don't guarantee their work, their prices, their dates or their conduct.
Any agreement to make pieces, including the making charge, payment, quality, remakes and hallmarking, is between you and them. You pay them directly. Measured facts and reviews on a listing come from orders on the platform; they are a record, not our recommendation. A review must be honest and come from a completed order. We may remove a listing or a review that breaks these terms.
3D pieces and what "built to be cast" means
Our software checks a design against rules for casting and wear, and shows a picture and a weight worked out from the model. It reduces risk and doesn't remove it. Pictures are computer renders, and a finished piece can differ in small ways in size, weight, colour and finish. Have your manufacturer confirm a design before you sell it, and order samples of anything you aren't sure of.
Your content
Your words, pictures, logos and your own designs stay yours. You give us the rights we need to host, show and process them to run your store and the service, including showing your store publicly once you publish it. You promise you have the right to use everything you add, and that it doesn't copy someone else's protected designs, marks or words. Finished designs from our library may be used in your store and made for your orders, and you may adapt them, but they are not exclusive to you: another brand can use the same one.
Things you may not do
- sell counterfeit, stolen or misdescribed goods, or anything illegal where you or your customers are;
- misrepresent metal purity, stones or hallmarks;
- use the platform to send spam or to mislead customers about who is selling;
- get around a limit, attack or overload the service, or try to reach another brand's data;
- agree your own quote or write your own reviews, or have someone do it for you.
We may suspend or remove a store, listing or account that does, and where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.
The assistant, try-on and films
The assistant, try-on and film tools use automated systems and can be wrong. Check what they change or produce before you rely on it. Daily limits apply. Try-on only runs with your customer's consent, under the privacy terms shown on your store.
Your customers' information
You decide what your store collects and why, and you are responsible for that under privacy law. We handle your customers' information on your behalf to run your store. Our privacy policy explains how. You pass on to your manufacturer only what they need to make and ship an order, and you are responsible for that too.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Objectifly running and correct, but we provide it as it is, without promising it will always be available or free of errors. We change and improve the software, and we may add or remove features, with notice where a change would seriously affect you. Features we mark as coming aren't promised by a date.
Liability
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under law that can't be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
As far as the law allows: we aren't liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect or consequential loss; we aren't liable for anything a manufacturer, payment provider or customer does or doesn't do; and our total liability to you for anything arising from Objectifly is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because of your store, your sales, your content or your dealings with a customer or manufacturer.
Ending
You can close your store at any time by writing to us. Fees for orders already placed stay payable, and orders in progress remain yours to finish or refund. We may end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or at once if you seriously break these terms. After closing we keep what the law requires and delete the rest within a reasonable time.
Changes and the law that applies
We may update these terms by posting them here and, for a change that matters, telling you by email at least 14 days first. These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law where you are says otherwise. Questions go to hello@objectifly.com.
